Update Issues

Somewhere between my last post and now I upgrade my phone. Unfortunately, the app I use to post to the blog completely crashes with the new iPhone! So I finally caved and I'm posting through the actual website (bummer, the app was so easy!). Here's some pictures of the munchkins just to get you up to speed.

Luke @ 7 months

I have been way too negligent at updating with Luke's monthly picture updates. We've been getting them done each month but have not gotten them up and posted. So I'm sharing his 7 month one up today as well as the other 6 months. I am so looking forward to collecting all these updates together after a year and making him a baby book. I've used a couple apps to make the most of each picture. I use LittleNuggetCo. Baby Story & Baby Pics. All have great stickers and badges! 

Summer Don't End

September is the best time for the beach! The water is finally warm and as long as there are no tropical storms coming up the water is usually calm and the wind is minimal. So we are going to soak in as much beach time as we can while it's still warm. Ben is such a fish it's hard prying him out of the water. 

I try to keep Luke out of the sun so his bald little head doesn't burn but I had to get a quick photo of my guys together. 

Luke has on Ben's old hoodie and Ben is wearing Liam's. 

Ben's 1st Day of Preschool

Ben was such a happy camper this morning I was hopeful going to school this morning he would be just as cheerful. While there were no tears he kept politely declining my conversation starters about going to school. "Hey Mommy, whatcha' doing?" "I'm making your lunch for school." " Oh no thank you." What am I suppose to do with that! So when the time came to head out I lied.  I did tell him where we were heading but I may have promised him that he would be painting there. Hey it wasn't a full on lie, they could have been painting on the first day (doubtful). Luckily, when I picked him up he had forgotten and said he had fun! 

Summer Photo Dump

We had an awesome summer and as a result I was completely negligent on updating the blog. From Luke's baptism to our mini family vacation in Wildwood we were always doing something. So I'm going to post all the highlights. Here's hoping I can get up to speed now that September is here.

Ben's first day of preschool is tomorrow so we didn't let the clouds get in our way today, we headed to the aquarium for some indoor fun. 

Luke at 4 Months!

Got a little more in depth this month on the update picture. It's amazing what kind of time you can have when your toddler has a sleepover at Nana and Pop Pop's house! 

Blog Name Change

Since Luke has come along I've been trying to figure out what to title the blog now since it isn't all just about Ben anymore. A lot of people do a play off their last name but with Wyzykowski that's a little tricky. Ben however gave me the answer when his teacher asked if he knew our last name. I definitely knew that he would have no idea what I was asking him if I said "What's your last name?". So instead I asked him to repeat me and say "Wyzykowski". Clearly, that was still a mouthful and Ben heard me ask him "what's a cow say?". So his answer has always been "moooooo!". I know some day Ben will know how to say his last name so I figured I would commemorate the cute moment and change our blog name.

Soccer Saturdays

For the last couple of weekends Ben has been going to soccer with Mark. I've been at swim each Saturday morning. Luckily, I had another instructor cover for me this week so I could go and watch. When I picked a day in May to take off I wasn't planning on it being so cold and rainy. But still enjoyed watching Ben run in the wrong direction and kick every soccer ball but his own. Hopefully in two weeks when I'm off again it will be warmer and maybe with some backyard practice Ben might have a better handle on a couple of the skills.

3 Months Old!

Luke is 3 months old today! Third times the charm, I actually took his picture on the correct day.  My sweet snuggler is 3 months and I can't believe how much he's grown! Luke is so chatty these days. We all love getting him to give us one of his sweet smiles.
