Toddler Time

Ben and I had just about had it with being cooped up in the house yesterday because of the weather. So we headed over to SkyZone to try out Toddler Time for the first time. Ben loved it! They play kiddie music and put foam blocks, balls, and hula hoops out for the kids and close it off to anyone over the age of 3. We will definitely be heading back soon!

Always be Batman

Ben has begun a love of superheroes since Nana bought him "Spider-Man Shoes" in the beginning of summer. He's recently moved on to an obsession with Batman and who can blame him.
Got my cape so who needs pants!
We met up with Liam at the park for some superhero business so pants became necessary.
I'll keep you posted on any other alter egos that come our way.

Beat the Crowds Beach Trip

Ben and I took an impromptu trip to Jenkinson's Boardwalk. We went to the aquarium and were the only people there! Ben loved it but was not a fan of the sharks. We picked up some ice cream and headed on to the boardwalk.

This was Ben's face after I told him we couldn't go on the beach.

So of course we went on...

Fun afternoon on the beach before all the crowds this weekend.

Fun on the River

It's been freeezzziiing! So of course the river is frozen almost almost a foot deep. We thought we'd enjoy some frozen fun today. Thanks Liam for the rides!
Watching Liam tube!

Ben's 2!

I can't believe how fast 2 years have gone! Everyday Ben surprises me with something new he says or learns! I love how much he loves books, building with blocks, and sharing with us! Can't wait to celebrate with friends and family tomorrow!
The three of us celebrated with dinner and ice cream at Bahama Breeze...they have Ben's favorite Mac&Cheese

Snow Day!

Last year we had drifts of snow but I could never find a snowsuit to fit Ben. Plus he wasn't walking yet and I didn't see the fun in it for him if I just plopped him in the snow. But this year he fits in all Liam's hand-me-downs! The flakes have ended so out we went! Ben was not too sure why he was dressed up like he was in bubble wrap.
But when we got out there we could have rolled him into a snowball and he would have been thrilled!
So needless to say, it was a pretty dramatic scene when we had to come back inside.
Here he is wishing he could go back out
