October Already!

I can't believe tomorrow is October first! Where did summer go and can we please find it!?  As much as I miss summer I do enjoy adorable holiday jammies! Ben was super stoked to kick off the holiday jammie season with some glow in the dark Halloween ones! 

 

He was even more thrilled when he saw they glow in the dark!

Handsome Fella

Ben may not be in school yet but with the new school year beginning I wanted to take him for some new photos. After two different sessions on two different days I ended up with only one decent picture. 

When I thought I would have had more of a selection to choose from I asked the guy what happened to some of the shots I saw him get but aren't shown. He told me if they came out blurry they just delete them. I'm thinking how do they come out blurry your holding a Nikon that must cost close to $1000 crank up the shutter speed!! After lots of online reading I am slowly learning all the settings to catch some great shots of our handsome devil. Just a couple pics I took today. 

Hoping to get over to the beach this week and enjoy any last bits of warm weather we may have. 

Beach Bums

It's the last week of summer vacation and we were so lucky to get to spend another not just a day at the beach but a day at the beach with cousins! 

Unfortunately it's back to Mommy's classroom tomorrow.

My Little Sand Crab

I can't believe how summer has been flying by. Only 3 weeks till school starts and I really can't even think about it. All I want to do is hang at the beach with my little guy. He is an absolute beach bum and I have no idea how he will deal when it isn't beach season anymore. 

Ben is yelling "bird" (or his version of bird) at me. He then promptly chased it till it flew away. 

Summer Update

Where has the summer gone?! I can't believe we are already two weeks into August! I've been very very neglectful go this blog.  Here are a few highlights from our summer thus far.  We enjoy the beach as much as we can!  So happy to have a great week in Wildwood with lots of family! And I have finally finished Ben's playhouse update. I think Ben forgot that we even had it.  The paint job was for me but the chalkboard paint on the inside table I hope he enjoys!

Spring Ahead

I can't believe how fast March flew by. We've been so busy I can't believe I haven't posted all month. This past weekend Ben went to his first "friend birthday party". One of the little girls at his babysitter's was turning 2 and Ben was invited! He had a ball but was less than thrilled when I tried to get him to stay still for a quick picture with the birthday girl.

Happy Birthday Ben!

I can't believe our sweet little baby is 1 already!  The good news is because of the weather both Mommy and Daddy got to stay home, bad news poor Bubba came down with a stomach bug.  He was pretty content after his 2nd bath because he pooped himself and his crib.

Ben rallied though around dinner just in time for some cake!

Snow Day!

We woke up today to more snow! Gus isn't a fan but Ben and I are sure happy to be home today!

11 month photos

I can't believe we only have one more photo to take! Ben was much more agreeable this month than last. Some highlights from this month. Ben has 6 teeth! Now officially says DaDa and calls for Mark when he sees him or if he leaves a room. Loves looking at himself in a mirror, camera, window... When we he does he immediately smiles and says "Bubba". Looking at all his pictures I can't believe how quickly he has gotten SO BIG! Stay tuned for his last monthly bear picture and some 1 year old photo shoot pics!

He may be a big boy now but he's still got that sweet smirk!
